Rising Price Storm Weekly inflation in the area increased by 0.11%, the overall annual inflation rate extended to 23.33%.

23 ascending commodity costs, weekly inflation rate increased further. The prices of dal masoor and dal mash also expanded in recent days.

According to the details, weekly inflation in the state expanded by 0.11% as the overall annual rate of inflation passed 23.33%.

The agency of Statistics published a weekly news report on inflation. According to which the prices of 23 essential items expanded in a week. 6 items became cheaper and the costs of 22 items remained stable.

In a week, the price of chicken increased by 16.34% and powdered milk by 6%. Milk became expensive by 1.37% and pulses by 3.47%.

In a week, tomatoes became cheaper by 19.47% and bananas by 2.3%, while flour, onions, potatoes and eggs also became cheaper in a while.

Then again, after the addition in taxes in the state, the costs of food items have increased, pulses including sugar, ghee, cooking oil have also become unaffordable.

After the addition in taxes by the Government, the cost of a 50kg bag of sugar which was being traded at 6700 rupees has expanded by 250 rupees.

After which the price of a bag of sugar has convert into 6950 rupees.

A carton of ghee has expanded by Rs 300, open oil has increased from Rs 380 to Rs 420.

chickpeas have expanded by Rs 280 to Rs 320 and moong dal has increased from Rs 280 to Rs 340.

Similarly, costs of several items including flour, milk powder, canned milk have expanded.
