Justice League and Rebel Moon filmmaker Zack Snyder reacts to Henry Cavil’s Deadpool & Wolverine cameo. Marking it as his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut.
Phase 5 is currently enjoying its biggest success with the release of Deadpool & Wolverine, featuring the return of Ryan Reynolds.
And Hugh Jackman as their respective Marvel heroes. Like many other superhero movies, there were several Easter eggs and references in Deadpool & Wolverine, as well as cameos from major actors.
In a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Snyder, who cast Cavil as Superman for 2013. Man of Steel, was asked if he had heard about the British star appearing in Deadpool & Wolverine as a Wolverine variant.
Snyder replied, “I haven’t seen it yet, but I did hear about it. Sounds fun.” When the trade brought up how Wade Wilson joked that Marvel Studios would treat Cavil better. “than the studio down the street.”
Zack Snyder didn’t respond but grinned. Then, requested if he was irritated that Cavil’s Superman was sidelined by DC, Snyder said:

Well, Henry is an amazing Superman to me, obviously. I hired him. I wanted him to be Superman. So any coins left on the table are unfortunate, and in that way, it would be great to have more Henry. I always think you could have more Henry.
At the time of this story’s publication, Cavil has not addressed his Deadpool & Wolverine cameo. Nor has he talked about future MCU appearances. However, it is value asking whether his cameo in Deadpool & Wolverine might really lead to Cavil existence cast in a new role.
As the iconic X-Men hero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe timeline. Kevin Feigen has also made it clear that when they recast Wolverine for the MCU. It will be a very different take on the character, which could suggest a unique direction for the casting.
