“The Voice Australia 2024” is returning for its 13th season and already we’ve been promised more exciting performances. Than ever before as well as an intense competition.
First airing in 2012, the show is based on the Dutch series The Voice of Holland, and has become a staple of Australian television.
If you’re somehow unfamiliar with the reality show, The Voice Australia has always featured four celebrity judges. Who select and mentor contestants throughout various stages of the competition.
The most distinctive element of The Voice are the “blind auditions” – the judges face away from the contestants while they perform.
Who is Judges?
“In 2024, the judges are Guy Sebastian, Adam Lambert, Kate Miller-Heike and LeAnn Rimes”.
“And 2023 Gold Loggie winner Sonia Kruger will return as the host of The Voice Australia”.
Judges can then press a button (which spins their chair around in a dramatic fashion) if they’re interested in the contestant.
Essentially, this makes sure the judge has made their decision to coach a contestant based solely on vocal talent.
Once the judges have selected several contestants, they then coach them all to battle it out, and ultimately, the winner gets $100,000 and a recording contract.
The Voice has served as a launchpad for many successful Australian artists, such as Harrison Craig and Karise Eden.
Now, without any further ado, here’s what you need to know about the 2024 season.
Where can I watch The Voice Australia?
