Bandai Namco has announced the Tekken 8 winter update and second season. Additionally, the final character of the game’s Playable Character Year 1 Pass, who is due out this winter, will be announced at The Game Awards 2024 on December 12.
A major balance and system update is also inbound for Bandai Namco’s fighters, which adds new moves for all playable characters.
The winter update will add a further evolved photo mode, bonus levels added to Fight Pass, additional customization slots, customized characters in the main menu, Tekken fan art in-game, and the 30th Anniversary Fight Pass.

It’s when Season 2 kicks off and adds new DLC fighters to the game. Though the developer didn’t hint at how many, a new trailer featured a red helicopter with familiar lipstick on a missile that chases Nina Williams.
This is likely her sister, Anna, and it should be interesting to see where she’s been all this time. This spring also includes a significant system and balance update, adding new moves for all the characters. Bandai Namco also announced the next Tekken World Tour for the period but has yet to reveal specific dates.
