Ingredients for Hot Sausage Pizza:

  • For the Dough:
    • 4 cups flour
    • 4 teaspoons yeast
    • 1 teaspoon sugar
    • 1 cup warm water
    • 1 egg
    • 1/3 cup olive oil
    • Salt to taste
  • For the Toppings:
    • 1/4 cup tomato paste
    • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
    • 2 fresh red chilies, chopped
    • 2 tablespoons basil, chopped
    • 250g mozzarella cheese, grated
    • 150g sausages, sliced
    • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
    • 80g button mushrooms, sliced
    • 1/4 cup black olives, chopped

Instructions for Hot Sausage Pizza :

  1. Prepare the Dough:
    • Dissolve the yeast and sugar in warm Water. Cover and let it rest for 10 minutes.
    • Sift the flour into a large bowl. Add salt, egg, and olive oil, then mix well.
    • Pour in the yeast mixture and knead the dough until smooth.
    • Lightly oil a bowl, place the dough inside, coat it with a bit of oil, cover, and let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size.
  2. Prepare the Base:
    • Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
    • Roll out the dough and place it on a greased pizza tray.
    • Use a fork to poke small holes across the surface to prevent air bubbles.
  3. Assembling :
    • Mix the tomato paste with basil, garlic, and red chilies, then spread it evenly over the pizza base.
    • Sprinkle a generous layer of mozzarella cheese.
    • Add sliced sausages, bell peppers, mushrooms, and olives.
  4. Bake & Serve:
    • Place the pizza in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden and crispy.
