Where to Obtain New Banknotes
Commercial banks nationwide have started distributing fresh currency notes through their extensive branch network. Banks have distributed new banknotes worth Rs27 billion to 17,000 branches across Pakistan during Ramadan.
To ensure smooth distribution,SBP has deployed monitoring teams to oversee cash availability. ATMs will also dispense clean and standard banknotes throughout the holiday period, while commercial banks will continue providing new notes at their branches.
