Prominent lawyers Ali Bukhari, Babar Awan, and Murtaza Tori appeared in court to represent the PTI workers. The court required all released individuals to provide sworn statements at the police station.

Bail Conditions Set by the Court

The court imposed bail conditions requiring detainees to submit a surety bond of Rs 20,000 along with a guarantor. Several PTI workers were arrested during the November 26 protest, prompting PTI to take legal action for their release.

In a significant legal development, challans for 13 cases linked to the May 9 incidents were recently submitted to the Anti-Terrorism Court. Judge Amjad Ali Shah of the Anti-Terrorism Court in Rawalpindi presided over the hearing, where PTI founder Imran Khan and Shah Mahmood Qureshi were also present.

Next Hearing Date for May 9 Cases

After reviewing the proceedings, the Anti-Terrorism Court scheduled the next hearing for the May 9 cases on February 27.

Bushra Bibi’s Interim Bail Extended

The District and Sessions Court Islamabad has extended the interim bail of Bushra Bibi, wife of PTI founder Imran Khan, until February 25 in relation to the D-Chowk November 26 protest case. Duty Judge Muhammad Afzal Majoka presided over the pre-bail application, with Advocate Shamsa Kayani representing Bushra Bibi. The Ramna Police Station registered the case against her.
