The Sherdil, will fly the Karakoram-8 aircraft and execute intricate manoeuvres, including barrel rolls, loops, and bomb bursts, all while leaving trails of coloured smoke in the sky. In addition, Pakistani-made JF-17 Thunder and F-16 fighter jets will also showcase their impressive capabilities during the display.

A Legacy of Excellence: The Sherdil Squadron
The Pakistan Air Force established the Sherdil squadron on September 19, 1974, and it has symbolized the country’s air force prowess ever since. Over the years, the squadron has participated in numerous international air shows, including notable performances in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. In 2020, the squadron demonstrated its aerobatic skills over Sea View beach in Karachi on the first anniversary of downing an Indian jet, making it an iconic moment in aviation history.
The Karakoram 8: A Symbol of Pakistan’s Aeronautical Innovation
The Karakoram 8 (K-8), an advanced, Pakistan-made trainer aircraft, plays a pivotal role in training the future pilots of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF). The aircraft is used to provide both basic and operational jet training to new pilots at the PAF Academy, Risalpur.
