PTI Opposes 26th Amendment and Judiciary Attacks
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Secretary General Salman Akram Raja reaffirmed the party’s stance against the 26th amendment, emphasizing their unwavering Support for judicial independence. Speaking to the media outside the Islamabad Anti-Terrorism Court, he criticized Maulana Fazlur Rahman’s support for voting in favor of the amendment, calling it part of his political strategy.
“We have opposed this amendment from the beginning and will continue to resist any attack on the judiciary,” Raja stated. “Wherever possible, we will seek cooperation, but our stance remains clear—our commitment is to democracy and human rights.”
PTI to Continue Its Struggle Against Political Oppression

PTI Calls for Nationwide Protests on February 8
Former Speaker of the National Assembly and senior PTI leader Asad Qaiser emphasized that Pakistan’s history will mark February 8 as a Black Day. He accused the ruling authorities of rigging the election and claimed that they stole PTI’s mandate overnight.
“On February 8, we will show the world that only the people of Pakistan have the right to decide their future,” Qaiser said. “PTI workers from across the country will join the Swabi rally to protest against this injustice.”
He further added that they will hold demonstrations in multiple cities across Pakistan to condemn electoral fraud and demand justice for PTI supporters.

Despite political challenges, PTI leaders emphasized that their movement remains strong, with party founder Imran Khan continuing to command massive public support.
